Urras Oighreachd Ghabhsainn is seeking an enthusiastic Gaelic speaker to develop and deliver community initiatives which proactively promote and support the learning and day-to-day usage of Gaelic in Galson Estate. The Estate remains one of the few communities in Scotland where Gaelic is still very much a language of the community. It brings a sense of pride to residents and is evident to visitors through the cultural heritage, traditional music and crofting as a way of life.
The successful candidate will develop and deliver initiatives which engage with the community of Galson Estate, proactively promoting and supporting the learning and usage of Gaelic. These initiatives will deliver against recognised priorities including health and wellbeing, young people, heritage, culture and tourism.
