The postholder will work towards an HNC in Childhood Practice - achievability 2 years. This post will be based in Lewis Schools.
You will develop skills to support the inclusion, attainment and achievement of vulnerable children and young people in school, home and community settings through direct work with children and young people, their families, and other support staff, as part of an Integrated Children’s Services approach.
The Educational Attainment Team work with children and young people who are eligible for support through the Pupil Equity Fund as part of the Scottish Attainment Challenge. The Team has been established for five years, working within our Western Isles school, they play a very important part in the lives of our valuable children and young people. This is within the school and community environment.
The Educational Attainment Team arrange activities and holiday clubs during school holidays which really is an amazing experience to share with the children. As well as working in schools alongside the Senior Management Teams and school staff.
